ABOUT ME
I’m a warm and caring therapist with over 20 years of experience in the mental health field. I truly believe that building a strong therapeutic relationship is key to our work together. I offer a safe, respectful, and welcoming space where you can comfortably explore what you're going through and work towards your goals. Together, we’ll take the time needed to understand the roots of your challenges while also discovering practical strategies to help you cope and make positive changes in your life. INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
I offer online individual therapy to adults struggling with a variety of issues such as, but not limited to: anxiety, trauma, self-esteem, stress management, burnout, loneliness, depression, managing difficult emotions, and coping with life transitions. I have a special interest in working with high functioning anxiety, generalized anxiety, imposter syndrome, social anxiety, panic disorder, trauma and PTSD.

Together we will develop an individualized therapy plan that uses proven methods (such as CBT, EMDR, IFS, DBT, Mindfulness, etc.), enabling you to safely work through your past, free yourself from old patterns, gain more control and confidence in the present, and acquire practical coping skills for any difficult emotions you may be facing.


THERAPY APPROACH
I use evidence-based therapeutic approaches that are effective and catered to your individual needs. My primary therapy modalities include: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT); Exposure therapy (for social anxiety, panic disorder or specific phobias); Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to address trauma/PTSD; Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) to help build coping skills to manage distressing emotions; Solution-Focused/Strength-based interventions; and Mindfulness approaches. I work from an anti-oppressive, culturally sensitive, and trauma-informed framework.

We will discuss your needs and decide the most appropriate approach to help you progress and achieve your therapy goals. I truly care about your well-being and I always endeavour to provide the highest quality of care for my clients.
